Best Laptop Deal of the Day: $350 Cyber Week Deal on the Alienware 16 Aurora

This is it. Cyber Week ends in two short days (including today), and it’s your last chance to enjoy massive price cuts on the tech you want before the year ends. Dell’s Cyber Monday sale has been extended through the end of the week, with discounts of up to $650 off on PCs, accessories, and more. Yesterday’s laptop deal was all business, but today I’ve found a deal that’s near and dear to my heart: a gaming laptop. Namely, the Alienware 16 Aurora, which is a midrange configuration that costs less than a grand during the sale.

The Alienware 16 Aurora AC16520 may not resemble a communications console with a mothership (I’m sure you’ve seen me mention the Alienware 16 Area-51 on more than one occasion), but it has the gaming chops you’d expect from the Alienware line. It comes equipped with an RTX 5050 GPU and an Intel Core 7 CPU, which means you can play the bewitching sequel to Hades, Hades II, which our reviewer called, “one of the year’s best titles” and awarded it the Editors’ Choice award.

This midrange gaming laptop doesn’t settle for the plastic chassis some budget laptops use to cut costs, but the WQXGA resolution of the 16-inch display will likely have gamers seeking higher resolutions with a secondary monitor. The keyboard is also backlit with white, lacking the level of RGB customization of higher-end Alienware models. Those are nitpicks in the grand scheme of things, and this laptop offers a lot of bang for your buck. Especially when you can save $350 while this Cyber Week deal lasts.
