If you have to choose between upgrading one of the two, I usually recommend choosing a model with more RAM, since it’s relatively easy to add or upgrade storage, whereas many laptops don’t allow you to upgrade the RAM after purchase.

This just might be the laptop deal to beat this Cyber Monday. We reviewed the previous iteration of this PC, the Dell Inspiron 15 (3535), and found it to be a fine budget laptop marred by inconsistent pricing.
