Its most notable drawback is its lackluster battery life, but gamers seeking a high-powered desktop replacement are in good hands with this configuration. You can save $850 during the sale and get your hands on a premium desktop replacement for less.

LOQ is Lenovo’s budget gaming line, but this gaming laptop is still built to last, meeting MIL-STD-810H standards for resistance against extreme temperatures, dust, and shock, so you can take it on the go without fear of damage. The 1080p 15.6-inch display is well-suited for team shooters like Fortnite, thanks to a wide field of view and a rapid 144Hz refresh rate. Our expert reviewed the 2023 Lenovo LOQ 15 with an RTX 4050 GPU and less RAM, and found it to be a competent 1080p gaming laptop with an excellent keyboard for the money.

For those seeking a premium feel, consider the Dell 16 Plus (DB16250), a productivity-focused machine that punches above its weight.

In his review of the Dell 14 Plus (DB14250), computer expert Charles Jefferies gave it an excellent rating, saying, “Dell’s 14 Plus is a good-value 14-inch laptop for home or school, particularly if you catch it discounted.” And it’s discounted by $450 right now. The 14-inch Dell 14 Plus is all very well and good, but sometimes, you need that bigger screen. Enter the HP 17, which has a large 17.3-inch HD+ display. This budget laptop has the specs necessary for day-to-day computing, such as web browsing and document processing, and will also make a decent entertainment device, thanks to the large screen I mentioned. While I would personally like more RAM in my laptop, those who use the HP 17 more casually or can buy and install additional RAM will get more mileage out of this one. Best 2-in-1 and Touch-Screen Laptop Deals

2-in-1s are versatile devices that can transform from tablet to laptop or incorporate a touch screen for a more intuitive user interface. If you don’t need the 360-degree hinge typical of 2-in-1 models, a clamshell-style touch-screen laptop is a (sometimes) more affordable option. Our top touch laptop deal is the Lenovo Yoga 7, featuring an OLED display.

When our expert reviewed the ThinkPad E16 Gen 1, he described it as “a capable big-screen business laptop at a bargain price” and ultimately awarded it an excellent rating.
