Best Laptop Deal of the Day: 30% off the Lenovo Slim 7i Aura Edition OLED

PCMag regulars may be getting a sense of deja vu because here I am with another deal on an OLED laptop. Happy midweek, by the way. Maybe I’m a tiny bit biased, but OLED displays have unparalleled brightness and vibrancy of color—something I appreciate both as a gamer and as a content consumer (any anime fans out there?) The Lenovo Slim 7i Aura Edition is a mouthful, but it’s also a sleek 14-inch laptop with built-in AI features. More on that in a moment. It’s on sale for $769.99, down from $1,099.99, and it’ll arrive by the holidays if you order soon.

The “Aura Edition” is an Intel joint venture that enables multiple operating modes, including: Collaboration, which enhances conferencing video; Shield, which blurs your screen when someone is near to protect potentially sensitive content; Wellness, which WFHers will appreciate because it reminds you look away from the screen periodically; and Attention, which is meant to boost focus by silencing notifications and blocking social media for a set time. As neat as they sound, only you can decide how much you’ll actually use them.

While we haven’t gotten our hands on this exact model, Laptop expert Eric Grevstad reviewed the 15.3-inch Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition earlier this year, and the two models share a lot of similarities design-wise. He highlighted the attractive 2.8K IPS touch screen, impressive audio and battery life, and the multitude of ports that allow for easy connection of peripherals without the need for juggling cables. The 14-inch model features a gorgeous OLED touchscreen and addresses one of the cons listed for the 15.3-inch iteration by adding an SD card slot.
